Finally some tomatoes for the garden. I am still waiting on the yellow pear and black cherry seedlings to progress a little more before I transplant them. These two tomato plants are an Old German variety, similar looking to the Mr. Stripey’s I grew last year. I am sure they aren’t “organic” but they are non-gmo and three plants cost $3.97 at Costco yesterday in South San Francisco so I couldn’t say no.
Apparently the Old German tomato is a Mennonite heirloom out of Virginia. Who knew?!
