This blog is about growing things in an urban environment and making things from other things that some people just dump in landfills. For the garden, for the house, for people I like.
I also like to post cool architecture, things about camping, cabins and campers and the very occasional political post....though I'd like to argue that growing your own food is, in itself, a political action.

I like this idea. It allows you to find a new use (reclaim, reuse!) for those old pillows, towels, t-shirts, pairless socks…whatever. And it gives your doggie a new bed.
Huge Stuff Sack 17% off now featured on Fab.

The perfect companion to any of molly mutt’s huge covers! Made from nylon mesh, this is designed to hold the old pillows, blankets and clothes you’re using as the stuffing for your doggie duvet. When it needs to be cleaned, simply throw the sack and its contents into the wash. This is the perfect accessory to help you decrease the amount of waste you generate by helping you reclaim old items for an entirely new purpose. You and your dog will be delighted!
